LUMINANCE ENHANCING FILM, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, OPTICAL FILM, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance enhancing film less liable to cracking of a cholesteric liquid crystal film, etc., and having good durability.

SOLUTION: The luminance enhancing film comprises a cholesteric liquid crystal film, a liquid crystal oriented film, and an optical retardation plate which are stacked by way of bonding means. At least one of the bonding means is an adhesive layer and has a storage modulus of 0.5-100 MPa at 23°C.
