<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuner with which a guitar mounted with a capotasto at an arbitrary fret position for transposition to an arbitrary key can be tuned through easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting position of the capotasto is inputted in the form of a fret number and then standard pitch data on a transposition destination key determined by the fret number are found from the fret number and used to tune the pitches of respective strings after the transposition. The result of the tuning is displayed on a tuned string display unit composed of light emitting elements arranged corresponding to a positions of the respective strings of the guitar to let the tuning person surely know the correspondence between the tuned strings and the results of the tuning through the display of the tuned string display unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
