PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonded body strongly integrated in use, and facilitating the separation/recovery of the bonded body such as a component when carrying out recycling or disposal treatment; and to provide a recycling method by using the bonded body. SOLUTION: The bonded body is obtained by bonding an adherend by a thermoset adhesive composition, and the thermoset adhesive composition contains thermally expansive graphite. The recycling method comprising allowing the thermoset adhesive composition to contain the thermally expansive graphite in the bonded body obtained by bonding the adherend by the thermoset adhesive composition, heating the bonded body at recycling to expand the graphite in the adhesive layer comprising the composition, to separate the adhesive layer by the expanding force and to reuse the adherend.
