PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for suppressing accumulation of platelets into the lung and/or the liver and/or degranulation of the platelets. SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition comprises glycyrrhizin or glycyrrhetic acid in an active amount for suppressing accumulation of platelets into the lung and/or the liver and/or degranulation of the platelets and arbitrarily a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
