PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internally threaded rod enabling a fishline-threading operation to be smoothly carried out. SOLUTION: This internally threaded rod has a butt rod 1 and an upper butt rod 2 joined to the point side of the butt rod 1. A fishline-introducing hole 6 is formed on the circumferential surface of the butt rod 1, and the terminal part at the point side is a fitting female part. A guide member 10 is arranged on the inner periphery surface neighboring the butt rod side of the fitting female part. When a line-passing tool 50 is introduced from the fishline-introducing hole 6, a cap 52 of the line-passing tool 50 brought into contact with the guide member 10 is lifted up, and smoothly introduced into the upper butt rod 2.
