<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply for the light source of an endoscope which continues the lighting of the light source for illumination without interrupting endoscopic observation by using a fuel battery as a battery and enables the ensurance of the safety of the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel storage part 20, which stores fuel becoming a raw material for generating a hydrogen gas, an electric power generating part 30, which generates electric power by the fuel flowing in from the fuel storage part 20, and a water storage part 40 for storing water generated by electrochemical reaction in the electric power generating part 30 and a drain part 41 for discharging the water stored in the water storage part 40 to the outside are provided to the battery 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
