<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for collecting data by which data, from which power supply hum noise is removed, can be acquired even when such a measurement is performed that data collecting timing can be decided independently from a power supply cycle. <P>SOLUTION: In the data collecting method, data collection which is performed for a fixed period at the timing synchronous to the zero-crossing point of the positive slope of the power supply cycle at and after a basic trigger Btr and another data collection which is performed for a fixed period at the timing synchronous to the zero-crossing point of the negative slope of periodical noise at and after the next basic trigger Btr are repeated and obtained data are added to each other.
