<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preventive agent and a therapeutic agent associated with proliferation, differentiation and preservation of functions of testis, spleen, kidney lung and the like and preservation of their functions, or associated with proliferation, differentiation, preservation of functions or aging of cells such as cancers, autoimmune diseases, allergy and the like, or obtain a new DNA useful for screening and the like of an inspection agent and a gene containing the new DNA, a new polypeptide coded with the DNA and a recombinant protein containing the polypeptide, and an antibody to the new polypeptide. <P>SOLUTION: The DNA comprises a base sequence for coding a polypeptide expressed by (a) or (b): (a) a polypeptide comprising a part of or whole of an amino acid sequence equal to or practically equal to the amino acid sequence expressed by a specific sequence, (b) a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence in which a part of amino acids are deleted, substituted or added in the amino acid sequence expressed by a specific sequence and having practically the same biological activity with that of the polypeptide (a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
