<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skew adjustment apparatus and a skew adjustment system capable of coping with the skews caused through a transmission path and sudden skew variations by always monitoring the skews caused at the transmission of a plurality of serial signals like high speed serial parallel transmission so as to automatically adjust the skews. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitter side transmits pattern data whoes skew amount of can be measured by a receiver side, and the receiver side measures the skew amount to perform the delay control. The pattern data are configured with a pattern comprising the combinations of a plurality of idle codes ('i0', 'i1') as shown in a table in the figure. A skew adjustment pattern as invalid data can be inserted to or easily be separated from a data sequence including valid data by using the idle codes for the pattern data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
