<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact module terminal capable of easily keeping a distance between two connection objects such as printed circuit boards unchanged. <P>SOLUTION: This module terminal 1 is formed of a thin metal plate, and symmetrically composed of a central flat part 2, and connection parts (leads) 3a and 3b respectively extending downward from both left and right ends of the flat part in a planar form. The vicinities of the tips of the respective connection parts are curved and folded upward to be formed into curved parts 3a1 and 3b1; parts of the respective connection parts between the flat part and the respective curved parts are formed as spring parts 3a2 and 3b2; and the respective curved parts are used for soldering parts. Slits 3a3 and 3b3 are formed at the center parts of the respective connection parts. Each slit operates to facilitate the elastic deformation of the spring part playing a role of a cantilever, and operates to increase a solder fillet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
