PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel in which a through hole is easily formed. SOLUTION: A PDP100 comprises a glass panel 101, and the glass panel 101 comprises a front plate glass 111 and a back plate glass 112 which is arranged away from the front plate glass 111 to form a hollow part 104 with the front plate glass 111. The front plate glass 111 is sealed with the back plate glass 112 at an outer peripheral edge by a sealing part 103 to seal up a rare gas in the hollow part 104. The front plate glass 111 comprises a seal-in part 123 for sealing the rare gas in the hollow part 104. The seal-in part 123 comprises a through hole 124 and a glass tube 125. The thickness of the back plate glass 112 is 2.8mm, while that of the front plate glass 111 is 1.8mm thinner than the back plate glass 112. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
