摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method for a light quantity detector capable of measuring absolute luminous energy, and a luminous energy measuring instrument using the light quantity detector. SOLUTION: The photoreceived luminous energy of each photoreception element in the light quantity detector having a photoreception element array arrayed one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, and an output signal of the light quantity detector are calibrated by a power meter 1 having traceability to the national standard of light power, using a reference light source 3 for illumination, and a value of the light power having the traceability to the national standard is directly measured together with a spatial distribution of the luminous energy of the light source, based on the output signals of the light quantity detector.
