PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip installing structure of a handle lock having a shaft mechanism using no pin in a lower end part of a grip. SOLUTION: This grip installing structure is composed of a support member 40, a pressing-down member 47 and an installing member 50. The support member 40 is arranged in a recessed part 26 opening on the door side of a grip lower end part 25, and a plate-like central piece 41 is fixed to a bottom surface of the recessed part 26, and a downward opening substantially U-shaped part 45 is formed in an upper end part of the central piece 41. The pressing-down member 47 is arranged so as to be superposed on the central piece 41 of the support member 40, and is a plate-like member for fixing the lower end part to the central pierce 41 of the support member 40 in an inclined state of floating from the central piece 41 of the support member 40 for proceeding upward. The installing member 50 is a plate material installable on a door surface, and can fit an engaging part 56 in the substantially U-shaped part 45 of the support member 40 while pushing an upper end part of the pressing-down member 47 in the central piece 41 side of the support member 40 by forming the substantially semicircular engaging part 56 in the direction for projecting from the door surface in the upper end part.
