<p>A demountable foot and leg exercise machine has a support frame laid flat onto the ground and two pedals (20) hinged on one end of the frame on two support arms. Two upright hydraulic cylinders (4) are secured to the frame by push fit mountings with the piston rods uppermost and topped by caps (30). The caps are linked to the pedals by tie bars and swivel fittings. The effective length of each tie bar is set by an adjuster in each cap. The user stands on the machine and exercises while doing other things, e.g. eating a snack.</p> |
