<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof tape for a cable which has excellent performance stability and in which weight-reduction, thinnning of diameter, and cost-reduction is possible because this has an excellent waterproof performance even in a thin type, the diameter of the cable is reduced, the amount of the outer coating resin of the cable is reduced, and winding volume per a pad roll is made longer. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof tape for a cable 3 carries a high water-absorbing property resin layer 1 formed by curing at least either a polymer described below (a) or (b) on a surface or an inside of a base material 2 made of a non-woven fabric or a fabric. Therein, (a) is a polymer obtained by neutralizing a carboxyl group of a part of a monomer component containing (meth)acrylate with a basic compound and polymerizing the neutralized monomer component, and (b) is a polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer component containing the (meth)acrylate and by neutralizing the part of the carboxyl group with the basic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
