<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate allowing the emitted quantity of light to be varied, capable of improving uniformity of luminance, and having an outside shape hardly changed. <P>SOLUTION: In this light guide plate 14 composed by forming prisms 18 extending in parallel with a side face for entering light on its upper surface, the cross section in the lengthwise direction of each prism 18 is formed into an angular shape. At least angles α each formed by a slope on the light incident side, and apex angles γ are formed so as to be different depending on the distance from the incident sides, and the angles α increase with the distance from the light incident side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
