<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll collecting system performing an efficient charging by preventing double charging from a same vehicle and reducing unnecessary wireless communication with an on-vehicle device. <P>SOLUTION: An ETC lane control device 11 wirelessly receives reply data 40 including LID (Link ID) 41, or identification information for the communication link, from the on-vehicle device 30 mounted on the vehicle entering in a lane (communication region) of a toll gate and charges the vehicle. The device 11 stores the LID acquired from the on-vehicle device 30 of the vehicle finishing the charging in an inner memory, and erases the LID of the vehicle from the inner memory when the vehicle finishing the charging leaves from the lane of the toll gate. When the reply data including the LID stored in the inner memory is wirelessly received again, the device destroys the reply data and prohibits the charging to the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
