PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact recovery-protection agent used for reducing contact resistance by applying it to a connector contact or a switch contact to prevent distortion from being generated in a transmission signal. SOLUTION: This contact recovery-protection agent is characterized by mixing powder with oil. When the contact recovery-protection agent is applied to a connector contact or a switch contact, an oxide film on a pin surface or a socket surface is broken down in inserting a plug or the pin so that a metal surface is exposed, and at the same time, contact resistance is reduced by contacting them through the gold powder and oxidation is prevented from easily occurring by the oil.
