<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational amplifier capable of improving high frequency characteristics and settling characteristics by enabling the output stage to appropriately control the feedback amount to an input differential pair in the operational amplifier with a gain booster stage inserted thereinto. <P>SOLUTION: In this operational amplifier having the gain booster stage, capacitor elements C1 and C2 are connected between the respective drains of transistors MP5 and MP6 that operate as the gain booster stage and a power source VSS, respectively.
