<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an on-board device appropriatly chargeable a vehicle passing a charged area at a low cost when performing a mileage charge. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning device 11 obtains vehicle position data depending on radio waves from a GPS satellite. A determination device 14 activates a base station supporting positioning, which supports positioning using position correction data according to an error between a position of the base station obtained based on the radio waves from the GPS satellite and a reference point disposing the base station if it is determined that the vehicle comes close to the charged area according to charged area information indicating the position of the charged area and the vehicle position data, and an error calculation device 12 calculates an error of the vehicle position data according to the position correction data. Then, an amount-of-charge calculation device 15 determines whether or not the vehicle is positioned in the charged area based on the vehicle position data, and decides the amount of charge according to the mileage and a charge rate when the vehicle is positioned in the charged area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
