BENZIMIDAZOLONE-BASED MONOAZO PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR USE IN INKJET RECORDING, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND INKJET RECORDING LIQUID COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a benzimidazolone-based monoazo pigment composition for use in inkjet recording in order to give a recording liquid excellent in dispersion stability, printability, distinctness, tinting power, storage stability and the like.

SOLUTION: The benzimidazolone-based monoazo pigment composition for use in inkjet recording comprises a product of a coupling reaction of mixed diazo components of an aromatic amine such as 4-amino-3-methoxy-6-N,N-dimethylbenzene sulfonamide and a sulfonated compound thereof with 5-(3'-hydroxy-2'-naphthoylamino)benzimidazolone or a mixture thereof with the sulfonated compound as a coupler.
