摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a switching element by preventing short circuiting current, and to reduce the cost of the controller of an electric motor. SOLUTION: An FET 8 is switched to a connecting state by inputting a gate voltage GV from a pre-driver 5. This gate voltage GV is output from this pre-driver 5 when a command voltage DV is input from a control unit 4 to the pre-driver 5 via the command voltage line 15 of a positive voltage side. A short circuiting line 40 having a diode 42 provided to supply only current directed from the command voltage line 15 to a motor connecting line 13 is connected between the command voltage line 15 and the motor connecting line 13. When a power supply terminal 1a is short circuited to a reference potential, the command voltage DV is drawn to the reference voltage via the short circuiting line 40.
