PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface conversion device capable of switching an interface to be used for communication with a computer in a simple operation. SOLUTION: This interface conversion device 100 comprises a peripheral interface used for connection with a computer peripheral device, two interfaces used for connection with the computer, and conversion control circuits 105 and 106 for performing the interface conversion between each of the two interfaces and the peripheral interface, in which the interface conversion is performed between one interface selected from the two interfaces and the peripheral interface so that the compute is communicable with the computer peripheral device. A CPU 101 selects one of the two interfaces on the basis of the connecting destination states of the two interfaces, and controls the interface conversion of the selected interface with the peripheral interface.
