PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell clock capable of charging a capacitor of large capacity, even under low illuminance and moreover stable in motor driving characteristics. SOLUTION: The solar cell clock is constitute such that in a quick start state. when the switch means is off controlled by the time sharing signal, the generated voltage of the solar cell charges only the capacitor of small capacity via the blocking diode, and drives the clock circuit. When the switch means is controlled on by the time sharing signal, the generated voltage of the solar cell charges the capacitor of large capacitance via the blocking diode and the switch, and also makes the driving signal generation circuit output driving signal.
