PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric automobile which can reduce a load under a spring on a drive wheel side directly connected to a drive motor. SOLUTION: When a drive wheel 1 suspended to a vehicle body 4 is vertically oscillated around an axis C, a drive motor 3 connected directly to the drive wheel 1 is rotated around the axis C. This leads to significant reduction in the moment of inertia of the drive motor 3, and the moment of inertia on the drive wheel 1 side is reduced. As a result, the unsprung load on the drive wheel 1 side is reduced, the grounding property of the drive wheel 1 is improved, and the driving stability of the electric automobile is improved.
