The fuel gauge includes transmission lines (2a,2b) provided in fuel tank, and supplied with high frequency wave. A measuring unit measures the amplitude of a reflective wave or the capacitance voltage in the transmission lines (2a,2b), that varies with depth of fuel. An independent claim is also included for fuel measurement method.
