The bicycle has a special gear mechanism for relieving the foot force of the pedals using an electrical drive that is supplied from a large battery. The electrical drive and the gear changing are coordinated. Using a dynamo and additional solar batteries, the electromotive force of the battery is kept constant and topped up during a journey. For harmonizing the journey, lighting effects are produced which draw attention to the rider to make cycling safer. Music may be played during the trip.
