PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic molded product to which antibacterial action due to silver ions is sufficiently imparted, and a method for imparting antibacterial action by silver ions to the plastic molded product. SOLUTION: The plastic molded product having antibacterial action is constituted by forming an antibacterial thin film layer containing silver to at least a part of the exposed surface of a molded product and manufactured by preliminarily forming the antibacterial thin film layer in the cavity of a mold and transferring the same to the molded product at the time of molding.
