摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating valve mechanism of a drain discharging apparatus capable of surely operating opening and closing of a pilot valve by means of buoyancy of a float and making small in size. SOLUTION: A drain valve body 26 is arranged on the insides of a mounting pipe portion 21c and a cylinder 25 of a drain adapter 21. A pilot valve seat 25a, a pilot valve hole 25b, and a pilot passage 25c are arranged on an outer peripheral wall of the cylinder 25, and a valve body 33 opening and closing the pilot valve hole 25b is supported by a valve operating member 34. Upon moving upward based on buoyancy of the float 35, the controlled portion 34b of the valve operating member 34 is pushed upward, and the pilot valve hole 25b is released. Consequently, pressurized air is supplied into a pilot pressure chamber 31, and the drain valve body 26 is moved to a release position of a drain hole 23a. The ratio of a lever of buoyancy acting on the valve operating member 34 is increased so that a pointed end of the valve operating member 34 is coped with an upper end edge of the float 35 opposite to a supporting portion 25d.
