PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration caused by a pressure fluctuation in fluid; and to increase obtaining motive power in a rotary expander for providing the motive power by the expansion of a high pressure fluid. SOLUTION: A pair of cylinders 81 and 82 and pistons 65 are arranged by two sets in an expansion mechanism part 60. A phase of the respective pistons 65 are shifted by 180°, and a high pressure refrigerant is introduced into one expansion chamber 62 every time when a shaft 45 rotates by 180°. When the shaft 45 rotates once, a prescribed quantity of high pressure refrigerant is dividedly introduced twice into the expansion mechanism part 60, and a flow rate and the pressure fluctuation of the refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit are restrained.
