PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can stably and continuously jet liquid droplets at all times without being influenced by precedent jetting of liquid droplets. SOLUTION: The inkjet head has a plurality of grooves which are separated by channel walls 3 formed of a piezoelectric material, a base member 1 having electrodes 5 set at a part of side faces of the channel walls 3, a cover member 2 set to cover the plurality of grooves to form ink channels 4 and a manifold for ink feeding, and a nozzle plate with nozzle holes 10 which communicate with the ink channels 4. A polarization direction of the channel walls 3 is set to be one direction of the height direction of the channel walls 3. Moreover, the electrodes 5 are set at upper parts of the side faces of the channel walls 3, and lower ends of the electrodes 5 are set to be different positions from positions of nodes of a primary mode free vibration of the channel walls 3.
