PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method which allows ink swelling from a printing surface to be clearly felt when touched by hand. SOLUTION: The printing device allowing the ink thickness to be felt comprises an anilox roll 1 which performs solid printing by an ink 6 having a property repelling a printing ink 8, a gravure plate cylinder 3 which comes into contact with the anilox roll 1, and a transfer blanket 2 which comes into contact with the gravure plate cylinder 3 are provided. Before the printing ink 8 is fed to the front surface of the gravure plate cylinder 3, the ink 6 having a property repelling the printing ink 8 is fed to the front surface of the gravure plate cylinder 3 by the anilox roll 1 for solid printing, allowing the printing ink fed to the gravure plate cylinder to be infiltrated deep into the characters, patterns or the like.
