PURPOSE: A method for offering a speaker certification service using a speaker certification technology based on network and a device for performing the same are provided to certify a user through the speaker certification by comparing the user voice information with the user voice information registered to a voice information database server of a speaker certification authority. CONSTITUTION: The voice information database server(50) of the speaker certification authority stores/registers a voice information characteristic of the user. A speaker certification server(100) judges the accordance with the voice information characteristic of the registered user by using the voice information output from the user. A controller judges that the user selects a numeric key and an enter key. A caller gives a call to the user by using a telephone number matched with key input.
