PURPOSE: A regenerative relay repeating device and a communication system using the same are provided to compensate for a delay time difference according to internal data processing mutually between plural repeater stations. CONSTITUTION: A delay correction circuit(15) is connected between a receiving/demodulating unit(5) and a multiplexer(6). In setting a delay time corrected by the delay correction circuit(15), the time required for processing internal is measured until a digital modulation wave inputted to the receiving/demodulating unit(5) is converted into a broadcast wave of the digital modulation wave, and the broadcast signal is outputted to a transmitting/modulating unit(7). The measured time is compared with a measured value of time required for processing internal data of a different repeater station(3). And then, the time difference required for data processing is set as a suitable value which comes within a certain allowable range in which a receiver(4) can process received data in a stable state.
