PURPOSE: An array substrate for an in-plane switching mode LCD device is provided to repair data lines, and to configure a supplementary electrode that minimizes signals of the data lines, which have influence on pixel areas, thereby improving a process yield and realizing high picture quality. CONSTITUTION: Gate lines(102) and common lines(106) are spaced from each other on a substrate(100). Data lines(122) for defining pixel areas(P1,P2) are configured by vertically crossing the gate lines(102) and the common lines(106). In the pixel areas(P1,P2), pixel electrodes electrically connected with a drain electrode(120) and common electrodes electrically connected with the common lines(106) are crossed each other in parallel.
