The cable system, and especially a wire cable, has a connecting cable (10) of a given length with an end section to be secured to a fixed structure e.g. stairs banisters (14) or a balcony profile together with a shaped connector (16). The end section of the cable has a shaped piece (30) with at least a curved laying surface to fit into the shape of the connector. The end piece and the connector can be fitted together in a variety of positions to meet the conditions on site. The cable end piece has a threaded section (24), working with a locking nut (38). |
