PURPOSE: A wire-cut discharge machine is provided to improve stability by preventing initial power from suddenly increasing. CONSTITUTION: In a wire-cut discharge machine, a power control unit(40) receives a pulse control signal from a machining control unit. A machining power unit(30) includes a gate output control unit(31), a circuit unit(32) for mixing the pulse control signal and signals output from the gate output control unit, and a power supply unit(33) for slowly increasing initial power and supplying the increased power to a workpiece.
