DIGITAL BROADCASTING RECEIVER AND INTERNET BROADCASTING SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital broadcasting receiver and a method for providing Internet broadcasting service thereof are provided to carry out data broadcasting through Internet at a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A digital broadcasting receiver includes an AV service part(110) for determining MEPG-2 audio/video data by a network bandwidth to convert the data to image format of a high compression rate such as MPEG-4 and Divx, thereby providing streaming service in real time via Internet. A data broadcasting conversion part(120) encodes data broadcasting contents to markup language such as HTML to perfectly watch languages such as xHTML, XML, CSS and the like in a web browser by using information obtained by parsing tables on the data broadcasting. A data broadcasting synchronizing part(130) synchronizes the data broadcasting with images by searching PCR(Program Clock Reference) information of the MPEG-2 streams. A broadcasting control part(140) controls the Internet broadcasting in the web browser of a PC by menu.
