PURPOSE: An OCB(Optically Compensate Bend) mode LCD device is provided to have a splay structure when a voltage is not applied, and to have a bend structure liquid crystal layer when a reset voltage is applied, thereby realizing high-speed response, optical angular field, high brightness, and low voltage driving characteristics. CONSTITUTION: The first and second substrates are disposed to be faced to each other, and are oriented in the same direction. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first and second compensate films(150) are located on both outer sides of the first substrate and the second substrate, respectively. The first and second polarizers(170) are located on both outer sides of the compensate films(150).
