PURPOSE: A method of making the cutlet by covering a mixture of rice and vegetables with a frying batter containing bread crumbs, starch, eggs or the like and then frying the whole in a deep fry is provided. The product can uniformly provide a characteristic flavor from oil frying, protein from a small amount of meat and fish, carbohydrate from cooked rice, and dietary fiber and various minerals from vegetables. CONSTITUTION: Various vegetables are chopped and mixed with conventional cooked rice. Thus obtained rice mixture(11) is then packaged with a meat layer(12) comprising sliced meat or fish meat, coated with a conventional frying batter(13) containing bread crumbs, starch, eggs or the like and then fried in a deep fry. Another layer(14) comprising cheese, sesame leaves or a laminate of cheese and sesame leaves can be inserted between the rice mixture and frying batter. The vegetables are bulbs, leafy vegetables, fruits or various natural plants for edible use containing roots, stems, leaves, fruits or the like. |
