PASSIVE OPTICAL NETWORK SYSTEM FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY SUPPLYING BROADCASTING-TYPE SERVICE AND DATA SERVICE

PURPOSE: A PON(Passive Optical Network) system for simultaneously supplying a broadcasting-type service and a data service is provided to amplify an optical signal for a broadcasting-type service by using a pumping optical signal, and to supply the amplified signal to subscriber devices, thereby simultaneously supplying the broadcasting-type service and a data service to more subscribers. CONSTITUTION: Broadcasting-type light sources(120a-120c) output optical signals for supplying a broadcasting-type service to plural subscriber devices(300d-300f). A pump layer(110) outputs a pumping optical signal for amplifying the outputted optical signals. Down light sources(130a,130b) output optical signals for supplying a down data service to each of the subscriber devices(300d-300f). Up optical receivers(330a-330c) receive up data service signals transmitted from the subscriber devices(300d-300f), and convert into electric signals. Wavelength division multiplexers(210,230) multiplex the signals to output the multiplexed signals, filter an up data service signal, and output the up data service signal to an up optical receiver(140).
