PURPOSE: A biaxially oriented polyester film is provided, to improve runnability, transparency and the adhesive strength to an ink, a resin and aluminium. CONSTITUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film comprises a polyester film; and a coating layer which is formed one or both sides of the polyester film by coating a coating solution comprising 0.1-20 wt% of a water-dispersive acryl-based resin having a glass transition temperature of 20-50 deg.C and a water-dispersive fluorine-based emulsion particle having a melting point of 250 deg.C or more and a diameter of 0.02-5.0 micrometers, and has a thickness of 0.005-0.5 micrometers. Preferably the water-dispersive acryl-based resin is poly(methyl methacrylate), poly(ethyl acrylate), poly(butyl acrylate), hydroxyethyl methacrylate, poly(acrylic acid) or methylolacrylamide; and the water-dispersive fluorine-based resin is vinylidene fluorinated compounds, tetrafluoroethylene, trifluoroethanol, hexafluoropropylene or perfluorovinyl ether.
