Class 12 (1) A textile spindle is mounted in an upper roller bearing 3 and a lower ball bearing 2 carried in a cylindrical member 4 whose outer surface tapers from a region adjacent the upper bearing to a region intermediate the bearings, and this tapering portion is mounted in a surrounding cylindrical bolster 14 by means of an intermediate rubber bush 12. An end cap 7 secured to the lower end of the member 4 holds the outer race 6 of the bearing 2 in position. The interior of the member 4 contains lubricating oil. |
