PURPOSE: A reflection-transmission type LCD device is provided to divide data lines into the first and second lines such that the divided lines pass through a reflection portion of an adjacent pixel area, and to configure a reflection unit on an upper substrate relative to a spaced area between the two lines, thereby realizing high brightness. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate(100) and the second substrate(200) define plural pixel areas in matrix type. Gate lines pass through one side of an adjacent pixel area, and are extended. Data lines(118) vertically cross the gate lines, and are extended by passing through other side of the pixel area which is not parallel to the side through which the gate lines pass. A TFT(T) is configured in a crossed section between the data lines(118) and the gate lines, and includes a gate electrode(102), an active layer(110), and source/drain electrodes(114,116). A reflection electrode(124) covers the data lines(118) as being contacted with the drain electrode(116). Color filters(202a-202c) are configured in the pixel areas. An organic film is configured on the color filters(202a-202c), and in which a part relative to a spaced area of the reflection electrode(124) is convex. A reflection unit(206) is configured on the convex part. Common electrodes(204,206) are configured on a front side of the second substrate(200).
