METALLOCENE CATALYST COMPOSITION CONTAINING CYCLOPENTADIENYL LIGAND SUBSTITUTED WITH BULKY CYCLOALKYL GROUP AND POLYMERIZATION METHOD OF POLYOLEFIN USING THE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: An asymmetric noncrosslinking metallocene catalyst composition containing a cyclopentadienyl ligand substituted with a cycloalkyl group and a polymerization method of a polyolefin using the composition are provided, to obtain a catalyst which has improved activity and is suitable for the polymerization of polyolefins having a low density and a high molecular weight. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises a metallocene compound for polymerization of olefins represented by (R1CpR2)(Cp'R3)MX2 and an aluminoxane represented by the formula 2 or 3 which are supported in a porous carrier, wherein Cp is a cyclopentadienyl group; Cp' is a radical having a cyclopentadienyl nucleus and is a cyclopentadienyl, indenyl or fluorenyl radical; R1 is a cyclohydrocarbyl radical of C3-C11; R2 and R3 are independently a substituent substituted to Cp and Cp', are identical or different each other, and are H, phosphine, an amino group, or an alkyl, alkoxy, alkylamino, dialkylamino, alkoxyalkyl, aryl, aryloxyalkyl, alkenyl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl group of C1-C20; M is a transition metal of group 4B, 5B or 6B; X's are identical or different each other and are a halogen atom, an alkyl, aryl, alkenyl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, alkoxy or aryloxy group of C1-C20; (R')'s are independently a hydrocarbon radical of C1-C10; x is an integer or 1-50; and y is an integer of 3-50.
