PURPOSE: A method for inputting a shortcut key using a rotation direction of a circle on a circular character is provided to easily perform a command in any device by discriminating the character with a clockwise circle and an anticlockwise circle, and using it as a different shortcut key. CONSTITUTION: If the character is inputted with a pen, a characteristic is extracted from a preprocessing step(211). It is judged that an inputted signal is a general character or a circular character. In case of the general character, a recognized character is output by performing the handwriting recognition(222). In the case of the circular character, the command set by the user is output by discriminating the rotation direction of the circle on the handwriting recognition process, and the command is executed(232). |
