Apparatus for imaging non-visible radiation such as x-rays comprises a pin-hole assembly and a display means 3. The display means, a scintillator, is capable of displaying the non-visible radiation as a two dimensional visible representation, and the pin-hole assembly comprises pin-holes within a screen, one or more of the pin-holes being fitted with a filter 3. This produces a plurality of images 6 from a single radiation source, said images having different characteristics from one another dependent on the characteristics of the filters, from which the nature of the radiation source can be studied. |
