SHIFT CONTROL METHOD OF AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A shift control method of an automatic transmission is provided to improve the shift quality and durability when power-on up shift occurs during driving. CONSTITUTION: A shift control method of an automatic transmission comprises steps of deciding occurrence of power-on up shift(S1); deciding whether the oil temperature sensed by an oil temperature-sensing part is over reference oil temperature(S2); calculating the vehicle speed of a shift line corresponding to a throttle valve of the shift line of the current speed range, on the basis of throttle valve opening-sensing signal produced from a throttle valve opening-sensing part(S3); calculating a vehicle speed variation by comparing the vehicle speed sensed by a vehicle speed-sensing part with the calculated vehicle speed(S4); deciding whether the vehicle speed variation is over a reference vehicle speed variation by comparing the calculated vehicle speed variation with the reference vehicle speed variation(S5); selecting a compensation coefficient set by each speed range(S6); calculating a compensation duty value on the basis of the selected compensation coefficient and the vehicle speed variation(S7); and including an initial duty value, calculated from a section B of power-on up shift, in the compensation duty value(S8).
