PURPOSE: A microwave shielding apparatus is provided to achieve improved resonance efficiency by preventing a leakage of microwave oscillated from a magnetron. CONSTITUTION: A microwave shielding apparatus comprises a waveguide(4) including a main body portion and a cover portion. The waveguide is arranged between a high voltage generator(3) and a magnetron(2) in a casing(1). The main body portion has an inner accommodating space for selectively guiding the microwave output from the magnetron. The cover portion is flange coupled to the main body portion, and has an outlet penetrating through the casing so as to couple a resonator(6) for exciting the microwave in such a manner that the material encapsulated in a bulb(5) generates light. A shielding member(30) is arranged between the main body portion and the cover portion of the waveguide so as to prevent a leakage of microwave.
