The "Automotive Insertable Sacrificial Anode" (hence to be know as the 'AISA ') is device resembling a small grommet which is constructed of a material suitabl e to act as a sacrificial corrosion anode. The material is typically Aluminum or Zinc. The device is inserted into holes which have been drilled into the body panels and steel components of automotive vehicles. The device makes contact with the exposed metal within the hole and acts to preferentially corrode and as a result protect the steel panel from corrosion.
